The staff is pleasant and helpful. The location is great for someone who wants to be the central train station, and it's also within easy walking distance of a Metro stop. If you get a room on the top (6th) floor in the back, you may even have a few of the Acropolis in the distance.... ++

Ωραία δωμάτια, μέτριο πρωινό πολύ ευγενικό προσωπικό. Το προτείνω ειδικά σε αυτούς που θέλουν ησυχία ή ταξιδεύουν με το τραίνο. Πολύ κοντά στο μετρό. Και απέναντι από τον σταθμό των τραίνων. Αρκετά οικονομικό και ιδανικό για οικογένειες. ... ++

Personally, this place ticked all the boxes. It was close to Athens main railway station & all Metro lines. It was quiet in the mild, balmy, evening. Breakfast included was more than satisfactory for the day ahead. Staff were friendly, courteous & v helpful; football on big screen TV; baggage storage facility available; rooms were ideal, iron available. Great value price; I travelled Europe with Interrail and this was by far the best hotel I used. Fellow travellers, in Athens choose Socrates. Bon Voyage... ++
